Daily Protein Requirement |
| Adult | 1gm/kg body weight for building new tissues and to offset the effect of stress. |
| Children | 1.5 gm/kg body weight for proper growth & Development. |
| During Pregnancy and Lactation | 1.75 gm/kg body weight |
| Elderly people | 1gm/kg body weight to maintain muscle tone and promote health. |
Note: Not recommended for infants under the age of one. |
