Daily Protein Requirement
Adult 1gm/kg body weight for building new tissues and to offset the effect of stress.
Children 1.5 gm/kg body weight for proper growth & Development.
During Pregnancy and Lactation 1.75 gm/kg body weight
Elderly people 1gm/kg body weight to maintain muscle tone and promote health.
Note: Not recommended for infants under the age of one.
